Terebra (Strioterebrum) trispiralis was named by Weisbord (1962). It is extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Strioterebrum quadrispiralis by Gibson-Smith and Gibson-Smith (1984); it was recombined as Strioterebrum trispiralis by Petuch (1988).
