Taxonomy
Dermomurex (Trialatella) farleyensis was named by Vokes (1975). Its type specimen is USNM 647448, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 999 - Farley Creek, which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida.
