Conus vitius
Taxonomy
Conus vitius was named by Hoerle (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 349870, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 91 - Oak Grove [Oak Grove Sand], which is in a Burdigalian marine sandstone/siliciclastic in the Oak Grove Formation of Florida.
