Agatrix epomis

Taxonomy
Tribia epomis was named by Woodring (1928) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Pliocene; Jamaica.]. Its type specimen is USNM 135418, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 705 (>4 mm) [Bowden Fm], which is in a Pliocene offshore marl in the Bowden Formation of Jamaica.

It was recombined as Cancellaria (Tribia) epomis by Marks (1949); it was recombined as Agatrix epomis by Petit (1976), Jung and Petit (1990) and Landau et al. (2012).
