Ventrilia sacellum
Taxonomy
Trigonostoma (Ventrilia) sacellum was named by Petit (1976). Its type specimen is USNM 220092, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TU 958 - Cativa [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal siltstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
It was recombined as Ventrilia sacellum by Landau et al. (2012) and Landau et al. (2012).
