Salpingoteuthis is a genus. It is not extant. Its type is Belemnites trisulcatus. It is the type genus of Salpingoteuthididae.

It was assigned to Belemnitida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Salpingoteuthididae by Pinard et al. (2014).
