Taxonomy
Corbarimys nomadus was named by Beard and Dawson (2009) [Originally proposed as Corbarimys? nomadus]. Its type specimen is CM 81741, a tooth (left m1 or m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.
