Franimys actites
Taxonomy
Franimys actites was named by Beard and Dawson (2009). Its type specimen is CM 81747, a tooth (left m1 or m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.
