Leda (Yoldia) levistriata was named by Meek and Worthen (1860) [Leda (Yoldia?) levistriata]. It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Yoldia levistriata by Meek and Worthen (1866); it was recombined as Paleyoldia levistriata by Busanus and Hoare (1991).
