Ornithocheirus wiedenrothi

Taxonomy
Ornithocheirus wiedenrothi was named by Wild (1990). Its type specimen is SMNS 56628, a partial skeleton (Very fragmentary cranial and postcranial remains), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Clay Pit, Engelbostel, Hannover, which is in a Hauterivian offshore claystone in Germany.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Barrett et al. (2008); it was recombined as Targaryendraco wiedenrothi by Pegas et al. (2020).
