Silingastraea shimoheiensis
Taxonomy
Thigmastrea shimoheiensis was named by Eguchi (1951). Its type locality is Todana, Taro-mura, which is in an Aptian perireef or subreef sandstone in the Hiraiga Sandstone Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Diplocoeniella shimoheiensis by Baron-Szabo (2009); it was recombined as Silingastraea shimoheiensis by Löser et al. (2018).
