Nortedelphys minimus

Nortedelphys minimus was named by Case et al. (2004) [original description omits heading of section describing the species (corrected in Case et al. 2005) but is clearly valid under the ICZN]. Its type specimen is UCMP 72211, a tooth (LM3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bug Creek Anthills (Reworked), which is in a Lancian terrestrial horizon in the Hell Creek Formation of Montana.
