Taxonomy
Daghanirhynchia daghaniensis was named by Muir-Wood (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Daghani, bed 227, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Bihen Limestone Formation of Somalia. It is the type species of Daghanirhynchia.
