Taxonomy
Leda rosa was named by Hanna (1927) [TYPE LOCALITY: California (Eocene). HISTORY: Type by original designation of Portlandella Stewart 1930 [Coan et al. 2000].]. It is the type species of Portlandella.

It was recombined as Portlandella rosa by Stewart (1930); it was recombined as Portlandia (Portlandella) rosa by Woodring (1973).
