Lucina cancellaris was named by Philippi (1846). It is extant.

It was recombined as Bellucina cancellaris by Woodring (1982); it was recombined as Linga (Pleurolucina) cancellaris by Moore (1988); it was recombined as Radiolucina cancellaris by Coan and Valentich-Scott (2012).
