Taxonomy
Pseudotrimylus blacki was named by Martin and Lim (2004). Its type specimen is UNSM 20047, a mandible (partial left ramus with M1-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hemingford Quarry 7, which is in a Hemingfordian terrestrial horizon in the Runningwater Formation of Nebraska.
