Lucinoma chiripanica

Taxonomy
Lucina (Lucinoma) chiripanica was named by Olsson (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Charco Azul [Charco Azul Fm], which is in a Pliocene offshore shale in the Charco Azul Formation of Costa Rica.

It was recombined as Lucinoma chiripanica by Woodring (1982) and Hendy et al. (2008).
