Taxonomy
Donax triangulata was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 130, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Bornia (Temblornia) triangulata by Keen (1943) and Moore (1992); it was recombined as Temblornia triangulata by Woodring (1982).
