Eleutherospira sinistralis

Taxonomy
Straparollus (Eleutherospira) sinistralis was named by Blodgett and Johnson (1992). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM 17413. 1870-1875 feet upsection to NE of section base, Lone Mountain, which is in an Eifelian marine packstone in the Denay Limestone Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Straparollus (Eleutherospira).

It was recombined as Eleutherospira sinistralis by Wagner (2023).
