Eoangyomphalus klapperi
Taxonomy
Angyomphalus (Eoangyomphalus) klapperi was named by Blodgett and Johnson (1992) [Angyomphalus (Eoangyomphalus) klapperi Blodgett & Johnson 1992]. It is not extant. Its type locality is USNM 17213. 1900 ft west of VABM 7936. Lone Mountain. Bartine Ranch Quadrangle, which is in an Eifelian marine limestone in the Denay Limestone Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Angyomphalus (Eoangyomphalus).
It was recombined as Eoangyomphalus klapperi by Wagner (2023).
