Eoangyomphalus peneglabra

Taxonomy
Trepospira (Angyomphalus) peneglabra was named by Rollins et al. (1971) [Trepospira (?Angyomphalus) peneglabra Rollins, Eldredge & Spiller 1971]. It is not extant. Its type locality is AMNH 3013. Small quarry on east side of Swamp Rd, 1 mi. S. of Gill Rd. Intersect, which is in a Cazenovian carbonate shale/siltstone in the Marcellus Formation of New York.

It was recombined as Angyomphalus (Eoangyomphalus) peneglabra by Blodgett and Johnson (1992) and Blodgett et al. (1999); it was recombined as Eoangyomphalus peneglabra by Wagner (2023).
