Trachycardium (Mexicardia) dominicanum costaricanum

Taxonomy
Cardium (Trachycardium) costaricanum was named by Olsson (1922). Its type specimen is PRI 21254, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Grape Point Creek, which is in a Pliocene marine siliciclastic in Costa Rica.

It was recombined as Trachycardium (Mexicardia) dominicanum costaricanum by Woodring (1982).
