Lutraria undulata was named by Gould (1851) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene-Recent; western Atlantic.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Labiosa (Raeta) undulata by Hodson et al. (1927) and Barrios (1960); it was recombined as Anatina (Raeta) undulata by Marks (1951); it was recombined as Raeta undulata by Olsson (1964), Olsson and Petit (1964), Woodring (1982), Coan and Valentich-Scott (2012) and Hendy (2021).
