It was reranked as Nuculana (Propeleda) by Frassinetti (1997).

It was assigned to Nuculana by Frassinetti (1997); to Nuculoida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Nuculanidae by Vokes (1980), Todd (2001) and Mikkelsen (2006).
