Kobyphyllia straini
Taxonomy
Sphenotrochus straini was named by Turnsek et al. (2003). It is not extant. Its type locality is Mesilla Valley Shale, Cerro de Cristo Rey, New Mexico, which is in an Albian shallow subtidal shale/limestone in the Mesilla Valley Shale Formation of New Mexico.
It was recombined as Kobyphyllia straini by Baron-Szabo (2009).
