Taxonomy
Latimeandra parvula was named by Duncan (1880). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Magar Pir, Karachi, Sind, Pakistan, which is in a Burdigalian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/sandstone in Pakistan.
It was recombined as Goniastrea parvula by Baron-Szabo (2009).
