Taxonomy
Chonetes pseudoliratus was named by Easton (1962). It is not extant. Its type locality is USGS "blue file" Loc. 13396, which is in a Serpukhovian offshore shale in the Heath Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Eolissochonetes pseudoliratus by Gordon (1975).
