Taxonomy
Pararachnastraea bellula was named by Stevens and Stone (2009). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SJS-1354, Conglomerate Mesa, which is in an Artinskian shallow subtidal limestone in the Santa Rosa Flat Formation of California.
