It was recombined as Micromelo (Abderospira) chipolana by Dall (1903); it was recombined as Bullina chipolana by Brown and Pilsbry (1911); it was recombined as Abderospira chipolana by Gardner (1937); it was recombined as Roxania chipolana by Woodring (1970).
