Y.-h. Xi 1994Shell of medium size, convolute, subglobular in form. Dorsal side of the last whorl rather broadly rounded, especially near the aperture. Lateral side steeper,leaving no umbilicus. Aperture more or less reniform . Collabral ornamented with asymmetrical lamellae and growth lines in alternating thick and thin irregular imbrications. Spiral lines thicker and more distinct near the umbilicus, becoming gradually thinner towards the dorsum, with seven spiral lines on selenizone, Selenizone flat, wide, slightly elevated, bounded by two distinct incised lines, and ornamented with delicate, crescentic imbricating growth lines which become gradually denser near the aperture, with a deep U-shaped slit in outer lip.
