It was recombined as Lapworthella schodackensis by Landing and Bartowski (1996); it was recombined as Lapworthella schodakensis by Landing (1984), Landing et al. (2002) and Skovsted (2006).

C. B. Skovsted 2006 | Transversely elongated, pyramidal, and asymmetrically coiled sclerites. Aperture slightly undulating, and apertural outline oval or rectangular, commonly elongated transversely to direction of coiling. Apical end a simple cone with circular cross section. External ornamentation composed of well-defined transverse ridges with short, apically directed tubercles and about equally wide interridge areas with smaller tubercles. Internal surfaces covered with a finely reticulate pattern. |
