Machaeroprosopus validus

Taxonomy
Machaeroprosopus validus was named by Mehl (1916). Its type specimen is UW 3807 (holotype lost), a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 2 miles east of Tanners Crossing, which is in a Norian terrestrial horizon in the Chinle Formation of Arizona.
