Taxonomy
Paracyathus sinuosus was named by Cairns and Wells (1987). Its type locality is NMB Loc. 15833 - Rio Gurabo [Mao Fm], which is in a Piacenzian offshore limestone in the Mao Formation of the Dominican Republic.
