It was assigned to Amniota by Spencer and Benton (2000); to Trilophosauria by Arkhangelskii and Sennikov (2008); and to Allokotosauria by Ezcurra (2016).

P. S. Spencer and M. J. Benton 2000'Skull 60 mm long. Lower jaw relatively low and elongate. Teeth transversely widened, and regularly serrated. First and last teeth of the lower jaw expanded and without serrations. In each half of the lower jaw, as well as, apparently, in the upper jaw, there were about 10 teeth.' (Ochev, 1967, p. 15).
