Protocaudina botoni
Taxonomy
Microantyx botoni was named by Gutschick (1959). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is Holotype U.S.N.M. 137039, paratype U.S.N.M. 137040 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meadel Ditch Quarry, which is in a Kinderhookian offshore mudstone/limestone in the Rockford Limestone Formation of Indiana.
It was recombined as Protocaudina botoni by Ogawa et al. (2019).
