Taxonomy
Antillophos was named by Woodring (1928) [Sepkoski's age data: T Eo-l R Sepkoski's reference number: 1248]. It is extant. Its type is Cancellaria candeana.

It was reranked as Phos (Antillophos) by Oinomikado (1939); it was reranked as Tritiaria (Antillophos) by Gardner (1947) and Marks (1951).

It was assigned to Phos by Oinomikado (1939); to Tritiaria by Gardner (1947) and Marks (1951); to Buccinidae by Woodring (1964), Addicott (1970) and Todd (2001); and to Neogastropoda by Sepkoski (2002).
