Taxonomy
Cythara isabellae was named by Maury (1910). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Loc. 3419 - McClelland Farm [Chipola Fm], which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida.

It was recombined as Cytharella isabellae by Woodring (1970).
