Taxonomy
Daphnella pagera was named by Woodring (1970). Its type specimen is USNM 135580, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodring Loc. 173a - eastern area [upper Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
