Taxonomy
Acanthotheelia pulchra was named by Kozur and Mock (1972). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample S11, Kerri zone, new quarry, Silická Brezová, which is in a Lacian marine limestone in the Hallstätterkalk Formation of Slovakia.
