Pteraichnus nipponensis
Taxonomy
Pteraichnus nipponensis was named by Lee et al. (2010). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is FPDM-F022-1, a footprint (Five trackways), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kitadani tracksite, which is in an Aptian fine channel fill siltstone in the Kitadani Formation of Japan.
