Boreopricea funerea
Taxonomy
Boreopricea funerea was named by Tatarinov (1978). Its type specimen is PIN 3708/1, a partial skeleton (missing parts: anterior part of neck with occipital region of skull, anterior end of muzzle, and pelvic girdle with posterior trunk and anterior caudal vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kolguev Island, borehole 141, which is in an Olenekian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Charkabozh Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Boreopricea.
