Taxonomy
Curvatella spinosa was named by Mostler (1971). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hernstein Castle, which is in a Sevatian slope limestone in the Hallstatt Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Curvatella.
