Metaliomys sevierensis
Taxonomy
Metaliomys sevierensis was named by Korth and De Blieux (2010). Its type specimen is UMNH VP 18748, a mandible (left mandible with incisor and p4-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Utah Geological Survey Site 42Sv066v, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial siltstone in the Sevier Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Metaliomys.
