Taxonomy
Tubocaudina longitubus was named by Kozur and Mostler (1989). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rupe del Passo di Burgio, Sosio Valley, which is in a Wordian offshore limestone in Italy. It is the type species of Tubocaudina.
