Taxonomy
Drillia puertocolombiana was named by Weisbord (1929). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Clathrodrillia gatunensis by Woodring (1970); it was recombined as Clathrodrillia puertocolombiana by Jung (1965) and Thomas (1972).
