Taxonomy
Drillia pennyi acaria was named by Mansfield (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Trinidad and Tobago.]. Its type specimen is USNM 352631, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Agladrillia (Agladrillia) acaria by Woodring (1970).
