Taxonomy
Solenosteira dalli was named by Brown and Pilsbry (1911). Its type specimen is ANSP (no number), a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Cantharus dalli by Oinomikado (1939); it was recombined as Hanetia dalli by Woodring (1964).
