Nicema amara
Taxonomy
Nicema amara was named by Woodring (1964). Its type specimen is USNM 643665, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodring Loc. 136 - Sabanita [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama. It is the type species of Nicema.
