Anurognathus ammoni
Taxonomy
Anurognathus ammoni was named by Döderlein (1923). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eichstätt [Solnhofener Plattenkalk], which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofener Plattenkalk Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Anurognathus.
