Loupanus thompsoni
Taxonomy
Loupanus thompsoni was named by Carter (1993). Its type locality is 87-CNA-SP-3/1 Louise Island, which is in a Rhaetian basinal (siliciclastic) limestone/siltstone in the Sandilands Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Loupanus.
